Tomorrow is created by the steps you take today.

As far as I'm concerned there is no more time for delay.

I have been wishy-washy and allowed myself to play in my shadows of victimhood which gave me permission to stay small and play victim to the world.

"Well I don't know where I'm going, the house hasn't shown up yet, so we'll stay put." All that has done is kept us right where I know we aren't meant to be.

So yesterday I committed to moving myself and my children forward; however that may look, feel or be. But we will not remain in the ashes of the old.

I will not model to them that fear is where we put our faith.

I realized as much as I have felt it is time to move, I have resisted this. I don't want to say goodbye.

But the image came not just as the ashes of the old, but that they are more like compost for the new and the new will be built from the old with everything good and only the good feeding the seeds of what's to come.

I literally have no idea where the life force within me is wanting to take my kids and I, but I am going to put my faith in the belief that it is good and will nourish our souls in exactly the ways it is meant to.

I also realized recently that by giving myself full permission to feel into the loss of the old I am also giving myself permission to be a co-creator with God in the next phase of my life.

I will no longer sit around and let the world around me dictate what happens. I am stepping into my power and taking steps and making strides to not only release the old, but create the new.

Now that is something to run towards. ❤️
